How we use AI responsibly | Last Updated: May 2026
1. Our Position
Marketing Enigma AI is an AI-native agency. Artificial intelligence is not a bolt-on feature — it is fundamental to how we deliver services. We believe transparency about AI usage builds trust, and we hold ourselves to a higher standard because our clients trust us with their data, strategy, and brand.
2. How We Use AI
We use AI tools across our service delivery in the following ways:
2.1 Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
- Analyzing how AI models interpret and cite content
- Testing content structures for AI readability and citation probability
- Generating schema markup and structured data
- Monitoring AI search engine responses for client brand mentions
2.2 Programmatic SEO
- Processing and structuring large datasets for page generation
- Generating page templates and content variations at scale
- Analyzing keyword opportunities and content gaps
- Quality-checking generated content for accuracy and coherence
2.3 MCP Servers
- Building AI agent interfaces that connect to client tools and APIs
- Developing prompt architectures for specific business workflows
- Testing and validating AI agent behavior and outputs
2.4 Internal Operations

3. Our Commitments
We Never Train on Your Data
We do not use your confidential information, proprietary data, or content to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model — ours or third-party. Your data is processed, not learned from.
No Public AI Tools Without Consent
We do not input your confidential information into publicly available AI tools (free-tier ChatGPT, public Gemini, etc.) without your explicit written permission. We use enterprise-grade, API-based tools with data processing agreements that prohibit training on inputs.
Human Oversight on All Outputs
Every deliverable undergoes human review before reaching you. AI assists our work; it does not replace professional judgment. Strategy, recommendations, and final quality decisions are made by humans.
Data Isolation
Your data is logically separated from other clients. We do not commingle data between client accounts, and access is limited to team members directly working on your engagement.
Transparency on Request
You may request at any time: (a) the categories of AI tools used in your engagement; (b) confirmation that your data was not used for training; and (c) details on our security measures for AI tool usage. We will respond within 10 business days.
4. Tool Selection Criteria
We evaluate all AI tools against these requirements before use in client work:
- No training on inputs: The tool must not use input data for model training or improvement
- Encryption: Data must be encrypted in transit and at rest
- Data residency: We prefer tools with US or EU data processing
- SOC 2 / ISO 27001: Enterprise security certifications preferred
- Data Processing Agreement: Written DPA must be available
- Retention policies: Input data should not persist beyond the processing session unless required for the specific service function
5. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Some deliverables we produce are generated or substantially assisted by AI. We want you to know:
- AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection under current US law (per USCO guidance)
- We review all AI-generated content for accuracy, but AI can produce errors or “hallucinations”
- Final responsibility for publishing and distributing content lies with you, the client
- If your industry has specific AI disclosure requirements, we will help you comply
6. What We Will Not Do
- We will not use AI to generate deceptive content that misleads consumers
- We will not create synthetic media (deepfakes) impersonating real individuals
- We will not use AI to circumvent laws, platform terms of service, or ethical guidelines
- We will not make false claims about AI capabilities to win business
- We will not use AI in ways that discriminate against protected classes
7. Evolving Standards
The AI regulatory landscape is evolving rapidly. We commit to:
- Monitoring developments in AI regulation (EU AI Act, US executive orders, state laws)
- Updating our practices as standards mature
- Communicating material changes to active clients
- Participating in industry discussions about responsible AI use in marketing
